Omg I had a lovely veg food here, bendi tomato was delicious the garlic naans were perfect and crispy not at all too fat like a bread. PERFECT PANEER CURRY is lovely too, all mix platter is yummy I loved the grilled jackfruit which is quite unique I never ate before

Indian Temptations is hands down one of the finest dining experiences I’ve had in the UK. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, with soft Indian classical music setting the perfect tone for the evening. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive — they explained each dish with passion and made sure we were well taken care of throughout. We opted for their South Indian Dosa , paneer butter masala , temptation platter , Varli Baingan , apple carrot ginger juice , temptation naans annd every single item on the table was bursting with authentic flavour. The dosa was perfectly crisp, the sambar was rich and comforting, and the chutneys had a beautiful homemade touch. What truly stood out was how light yet satisfying the meal was. It’s rare to find a place that serves pure vegetarian Indian food with such finesse — and the presentation was Instagram-worthy too! This place isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a culinary experience. Whether you’re from India and craving a taste of home or just someone who appreciates good food, Indian Temptations will leave you smiling. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Pro tip: Try to book a table by the window for a lovely view of Bath — it makes the meal even more memorable.

Vegetarian Indian. First time for everything. A wide selection of different dishes, from your classic “British” Indian and authentic Indian. Impressive when you consider its app vegetarian. I had the mushroom masala, tasted much like you would expect, with an informed heat. The mushrooms gave the dish the “meaty” texture. Rice was delicious. Really loved the popadom, already broken in nice shards. Plenty of them which is a bonus. We all enjoyed them. Dipping sauces were the usual trio. The one thing that did let it down was the decor. A bit drab, particularly when you have those stunning views out the window. It contrasts. Hard. Not worth taking a star off though.

amazing food and so nice to go to a restaurant where all the food is vegetarian, i was spoiled for choice. ordered the thali which took a while to arrive (1.5hr after ordering) so may be wise to order this if you have plenty of time. but i am sure the other main dishes would arrive quicker. also the kale onion bhaji is one of the best things i’ve tasted!!!!

Amazing Indian food with a great view of the Bath Abbey. Visited them 3 times in the span of 2 days coz the food was really good. Thali was delicious (curries were just amazing!), dosa was good, koftas were mellow and creamy and the samosa chat as a starter tasted really good as well. Be mindful that it can get crowded on weekends in the afternoon and evening, so reserve a table in advance. There might only be 3-4 people to serve 30-40 visitors and it ain’t a fast food joint, so kindly be patient. They were extremely kind and respectful, especially Manohar! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Indian food in Bath and I will visit again for sure!

“I had the pleasure of dining at Indian temptation and it was an incredible experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of traditional Indian decor and modern touches. The food was absolutely divine. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly spiced. The soya chaap was have a nice flavour of spices and creamy, the chilli garlic mushrooms was aromatic flavorful and crispy the garlic naan was soft yet crispy on the edges. They also had an impressive variety of vegetarian options. The staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to recommend dishes that suited our preferences. The service was prompt, and the portions were generous for the price. Pocket friendly prices are nice and amazing location.

Absolutely incredible dining experience! We chose a variety of dishes which were all fresh and vibrant. The service was excellent too. Really appreciated the separate vegan menu with plenty of choice, and the seating right next to the abbey. Would love to come back again.
